You can select your roommate(s), or you can apply on your own and we can match you with other students. Applicants answer a short list of lifestyle questions to help in the matching process.

Instead of requiring all roommates to sign a joint lease, each person at Stadium Village Flats has his or her own individual contract, with one person per bedroom. This means you are only responsible for paying for yourself — not your roommates. Even if a roommate moves out or other bedrooms in your apartment are empty, you only pay the rate for your bedroom.

The spacious accommodations at Stadium Village Flats range from 1 to 4 bedroom floorplans. All apartments have a private bathroom for each bedroom, except the 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom option.

Yes, all apartments at Stadium Village Flats have a furniture package that includes a Full XL bed, dresser, desk and chair in each bedroom, and a sofa, coffee table and entertainment stand in each living room. The standard term is August 24, 2027 to July 31, 2028, with payments made in 12 equal installments. Limited alternate dates are available; please inquire with our staff. Click here for a sample agreement.

Each resident must pay an administrative fee for each contract year. This fee is reduced significantly if the resident provides a qualifying guarantor (often a parent) for their financial obligations under Housing Agreement.

Yes. Residents can pay online 24 hours per day, by credit card or ACH electronic checking. Stadium Village Flats also offers automatic payment by either credit card or checking account — just fill out one page, one time and payments will be made automatically. Convenience fees apply for credit card and debit card payments.

Your living costs at Stadium Village Flats can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. Any available financial aid funds, after university charges are satisfied, are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. These funds can be used to pay charges at Stadium Village Flats. Normal payment deadlines will continue to apply.

Nearly all the residents at Stadium Village Flats are students at University of Minnesota and the per-person contracts are also designed with students in mind. Stadium Village Flats is an Equal Opportunity housing provider and welcomes applications from non-students and residents with children, at no extra cost other than regular charges for each bedroom space selected by the resident. In order to match roommates in shared apartments with college students, roommate consent is required for any occupant who is not a college student.

Stadium Village Flats has fire sprinklers, plus electronic locks and individually locking bedroom doors. Community courtesy patrols are provided at select times. Management staff are also on-site 24×7 and can be reached by a 24-hour phone number.

Stadium Village Flats is a no-pets community. The community is smoke-free in all indoor and adjacent areas. Guests are welcome at all times, subject to the consent of roommates and security considerations. Overnight guests are welcome, with limits on the number of days and guests.

Stadium Village Flats offers heated underground parking for an additional charge. Secure bike parking is also available free for residents.

Stadium Village Flats is two blocks from two stops on the Metro Transit “green” light rail. The U of M Campus Circulator bus route also stops less than two blocks away, running from 7am weekdays and from 9:30am weekends, continuing until midnight Sunday through Wednesday nights and until 2am Thursday through Saturday nights.
